Formamind is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our infrastructure and deployment strategies. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available systems that power our diverse client projects, while establishing DevOps best practices across our engineering teams.

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Speaks English at minimum C1 (advanced) level
Speaks Polish (optional, but welcome)
Has 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
Expert knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as code
Proficient with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
Advanced experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
Strong background in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Deep understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) and microservices architecture
Solid knowledge of networking, security best practices, and compliance frameworks
Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go) for automation
Experience with database administration and backup/disaster recovery strategies
Has implemented zero-downtime deployments and blue-green deployment strategies
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with incident response
Leadership experience in mentoring teams and driving technical decisions

What you'll be doing:

Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure for client applications
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment
Establish monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies for production systems
Implement security best practices and compliance requirements across infrastructure
Optimize system performance, cost, and resource utilization
Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis to improve system reliability
Mentor development teams on DevOps practices and tooling
Automate operational tasks and eliminate manual processes
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security controls
Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency
